As we mentioned a few weeks ago, Entourage douche Jeremy Piven abruptly quit the Broadway revival of Speed The Plow, apparently due to “high levels of mercury.”
Shortly after, his co-stars Raul Esparza and Elizabeth Moss, decided to talk shit about Piven on stage after a show.
And, now with Norbert Leo Butz taking over Piven’s role, the cast couldn’t be happier about the new addition – and that the Pivert is long gone!
In a new interview, Esparza saus that Leo Butz had brought the show “a real sense of trio.”
Adding, ├óΓé¼┼ôJeremy didn├óΓé¼Γäót need to do anything, and the audience would automatically be on his side because he is so well known.”
However, he added that what Butz contributes is ├óΓé¼┼ôa theater actor├óΓé¼Γäós ability to tell a story well, to play in the ensemble.”
He then said Butz is “good at being part of the three of us.├óΓé¼┬¥
Clearly talking about the former relationship with Jeremy Piven.
But now with Piven’s departure, the ticket sales have gone down.
Esparza says, ├óΓé¼┼ôWe were talking about extending, and now it├óΓé¼Γäós a matter of surviving.”
Better to survive and be happy than a painful extension, we say!
