This is getting really scary!
We reported yesterday that Katie Holmes was growing increasingly concerned that she was under surveillance by the Church of Scientology as she settled into her new NYC apartment after filing for divorce from Tom Cruise. It’s been reported that several men in two SUVs, not associated with the press or paparazzi, have been staked outside her place for over a week, and now, we know that it’s gotten so bad that the actress had her neighbor call the police … for fear they may try and kidnap daughter Suri!
According to sources with law enforcement, there are at least five men – two of whom are carrying firearms – chilling outside the 7th Avenue building in the previously-reported-upon white Cadillac Escalade with Tennessee license plates who have been taking pictures and interrogating residents!
Authorities responded to a call placed by the actress’ neighbor voicing their concerns over ├óΓé¼┼ôsuspicious activity in a white Escalade,├óΓé¼┬¥ but upon investigating the scene for 15 minutes and not getting a straight answer from the mystery men, they could not take any further action, as Holmes did not place the call herself.
However, she has apparently alerted the managers at her building to keep an eye out for Tom or any strangers who may try to get in!
And with good reason!
An insider explains:
“Katie saw all the pressure. They [Scientologists] are professionals at pressuring people to be quiet. That’s why she did this [filed for divorce] in secret. Suri is at the age where they are going to start educating her in Scientology centers and indoctrinating her into the religion. Katie did convert when she and Tom were married, but she didn’t take to it. Behind closed doors, and when the private planes and the red carpets were gone, she didn’t like it. And she decided she does not want that for Suri.”
Yuck! BEYOND freaky!
Again, we’re just grateful that this whole situation is as high-profile as it is, because at this point, it’s pretty clear that Scientologists are up to some serious shady business, and with the more press and cameras on Katie, the harder it will be for them to do whatever it is they’re attempting to!
