He wasn’t trying to sell his daughter after all??
Rafiq Qureshi, the father of 9-year-old Slumdog Millionaire starlet Rubina Ali was arrested earlier this week on the suspicion of putting his daughter up for an illegal adoption.
Qureshi has since been released from prison due to the fact that police have not found any actual evidence of Rafiq trying to sell his daughter for $300,000!!
The accused father is now complaining to reporters that the story was a “lie made up by foreign journalists playing games with me.”
Something about this story still isn’t sitting right with us!!
