Sad…but true.
Today, President Barack Obama gave a speech in which he laid out some cold, hard truths about America’s economy.
He went so far as to say that economic inequality is at “a level we haven’t seen since the Great Depression.”
As the speech went on, Obama made it clear that he believes the country can get out of this situation:
“I’m here to reaffirm my deep conviction that we are greater together than we are on our own.”
“I believe that this country succeeds when everyone gets a fair shot, when everyone does their fair share, and when everyone plays by the same rules. Those aren’t Democratic or Republican values; 1% values or 99% values. They’re American values, and we have to reclaim them.”
Do U agree with Obama? Will America get out of its current Great Depression-like economy?
