It’s not exactly a secret that President Barack Obama is a huge fan of basketball! But not everyone knows that his wifey Michelle Obama‘s brother Craig Robinson is the head coach of the Oregon State University basketball team!
So when the Beavers came to town to take on the Maryland Terrapins, the first family decided to make their way to the Comcast Center in College Park to take in some bball action!
While most of the students gave him a warm welcome to their stadium, others showered the President with boos and jeers!!
Barack and Michelle Obama have made a point to come and support her big bro anytime he makes his way through the D.C. area, however, this year the POTUS’ approval rating is at an all time low!
Most of the controversy as of late has stemmed from his implication of the Affordable Care Act, which has gotten off the an incredibly bumpy start and has already seen TONS of backlash!
Luckily, Barack and his family were good sports throughout the evening, and he even jokingly plugged his ears at one point while laughing with his daughters Sasha and Malia!
However, it probably also didn’t help that the first family was rooting for the opposing team, and to make matters even worse, the Beavers ended up winning 90-83! Whoops!
