This nation’s military service members should always be treated with nothing but respect.
Anyone willing to put their life on the line for the American way deserves at least that.
So did President Obama, the commander-in-chief, disrespect two U.S. Marines when he exited his Marine One chopper??
He had his coffee cup in his hand, and while exiting the aircraft, lazily returned the salute of two marines… with his coffee hand!

What’s crazy is we guess the white house didn’t see this as disrespectful… since they’re the ones who posted the video.
The commenters online sure felt differently though, with comments all over the place, like:

We honestly think it’s such a normal thing for Obama to have to salute marines all the time, he didn’t even realize.
Sure, he could’ve switched his coffee to another hand but we’re pretty sure with ISIS and Ebola and more, he has a whooooole lot on his mind. Can’t we give him just one pass on this one??
