Prince Harry SINGS On Stage During 'Hamilton' Date Night With Meghan Markle!

Prince Harry Hamilton King George III

Prince Harry’s feeling the voice of his ancestors.
After attending a performance of Hamilton at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London Wednesday night alongside Meghan Markle, the Duke of Sussex stormed the stage and belted out a few lyrics from You’ll Be Back — the song sung by King George III in the play.
Harry’s musical debut was quite brief — he literally only sang the first two words, “You say” — but the performance still stole the show and caused the audience to burst into applause.

Hamilton mastermind Lin-Manuel Miranda was just as (if not more) excited as the crowd, as he stomped his left foot on stage, ready to break out into some sort of show tune medley. Sadly, Harry made it clear he wouldn’t sing more than those two first words, adding with a laugh:

“That’s definitely not going to happen. [Miranda] did try, but I said, ‘No.’”

The 33-year-old royal went on to thank the cast and crew for helping raise awareness and money for his charity Sentebale, which supports the mental health and well-being of children affected by HIV and AIDS in Botswana and Lesotho.
Before the show, L-MM told reporters it would be “fun and surreal” to see Harry’s reaction to the impersonator of George, his actual sixth great-grandfather.
Based on that mini-performance, though, we’d say Harry would make a fine King George himself! Watch the video (below) to hear his royal pipes.
