Learning from the past! Prince Harry is raising his kids the way he would’ve loved as a kid.
In honor of Prince Archie‘s 7th birthday on Wednesday (can you believe it?!), a source opened up to People about how the Duke of Sussex is raising his children — and why this style of parenting is SO important to him. They said:
“They give their kids space to be themselves — for their different personalities to flourish. After growing up so publicly, that was really important to Harry.”

Harry and his brother Prince William grew up under intense scrutiny in the spotlight, and he’s been honest about how difficult that was for his mental health, especially after his mother Princess Diana‘s death. Life as a royal became so problematic that he walked away to live his life on his own terms.
It’s lovely to hear he’s prioritizing his littles, especially after he just admitted having a rocky start to fatherhood!
