Prince Harry's Decision To Leave Meghan & Archie For A Night Was 'Very Difficult'

Prince Harry Meghan Markle First Time Leaving Archie

Last week Prince Harry did one of the hardest things new daddies are forced to do — left Mommy and the baby to go back to work.
And we don’t mean a short drive down the road; he’d made a couple of local appearances before this. No, we’re talking about when he had to leave the whole country!
The Royal usually has no problems meeting his international obligations as the Duke of Sussex, but this time was different.
Meghan Markle had just given birth on May 6, so the Prince had to leave her all alone with 18 day old baby Archie.

For Rome, Italy no less!
Prince Harry made the special trip to play in a charity polo match, the ninth annual Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup.

Playing polo in Rome makes it sound like a total vacay with the boys, but this was actually for a charity close to Harry’s heart.
He cofounded the Sentebale charity with Prince Seeiso of the Basotho Royal Family way back in 2006. Its goal is to help children in Lesotho, Botswana, and Malawi — who are particularly vulnerable due to extreme poverty and the HIV/AIDS epidemic — get the education and healthcare they need to live quality lives.
So you can see why he’d be willing to leave his family for a night to appear at this fundraiser.
It was still apparently a very tough decision, as a source tells Us Weekly this week.
The insider spills:

“Harry left for Italy and it was very difficult for him to leave Archie and Meghan. He wants to spend every second he can with them.”

Who wouldn’t??
Seriously, though, it’s so sweet what a natural he is as both a partner and a parent.

And according to the insider, Meghan is no slouch at parenting either!
The source says the Duchess “has really taken to motherhood” in these early days.
Both parents are reportedly super protective of Archie’s environment:

Meghan and Harry are first-time parents so they want everything in their house to be organic, healthy and good for the baby.”

Sounds like they have things well in hand — even when they can’t both be there.
Harry’s next big trip is of course, into the dark recesses of the soul — he’s having lunch with Donald Trump next week, something Meghan is wisely skipping.
