Family first!
That’s clearly newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s motto. Not only did the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attend Prince Charles‘ 70th birthday celebration rather than jet off on a honeymoon trip, but it’s said they’re also planning a trip to visit with Meghan’s father in Mexico.

As you surely know, Thomas Markle was forced to step away from his royal wedding duties when he required urgent heart surgery. Royal expert Katie Nicholl informed Entertainment Tonight:
“I hear one of the things they want to do sooner than later — and now that they’re married — is to go and see Thomas Markle, who is recovering from a heart operation. We don’t know when this trip might happen. …I’m hearing from people close to Meghan and Harry that they’re very keen to do it.”
Since the newly minted Duke has yet to meet the reclusive lighting designer in person, we’re sure both Harry and Thomas are eager for this meeting to occur. Not to mention, it would give Mr. Markle the opportunity to properly apologize in person for staging paparazzi pics!
The Windsor family specialist added:
“He feels it’s very important that he gets to meet Thomas. Of course, Meghan — who’s been really concerned about her father’s health — is keen to go see him as soon as possible.”
Makes sense! Here’s hoping the meeting goes off without a hitch!!
