According to high-powered editor and former personal friend of Princess Diana, Tina Brown, Buckingham Place has “cleared its diary” to announce the engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton in early June.
“A high-placed source in royal circles tells me that two days in June have been mysteriously blocked out on the palace diaries – June 3 and 4,” Brown wrote.
It’s about time!
“If so, a wedding itself would probably follow in November, like the wedding of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, who married at Westminster Abbey that cold, damp November day in 1947,” she continued.
Kate and William have been dating since they met at St Andrews University seven years ago! And he turns 28 this year, which he once said was the age he would get married.
Congrats, you two!
