Looks like the world’s cutest baby cheetah just got cuter.
Busch Garden’s 8-week-old cub has met his BFF-to-be, a 16-week-old female yellow Labrador.
Since being introduced to each other this weekend, the interspecies pair has had some supervised playdates. Eventually, the dog and cat will even live and travel together!
“Male cheetahs are social and often live together in coalitions,” Busch Gardens animal curator Tim Smith said. “This social bond will be a very similar relationship, and they will be together for life.”
The public will be able to help name the pair by voting on their favorite names in Busch Gardens’s Facebook poll. Voting ends Monday, April 18.
