Dennis Quaid and his wife have agreed to a $750,000 settlement with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for an overdosing incident a year ago that nearly cost his infant twins their lives.
As part of the settlement Cedars-Sinai admits no wrongdoing.
The Quaids also attempted to sue Baxter Healthcare Corp. in Illinois – the company that manufactures the blood-thinning Heparin – for faulty labeling, but that case was dismissed.
Baxter Healthcare Corp., however, may yet pursue a lawsuit against Cedars-Sinai, which apparently over-administered Herapin to some patients in November 2007.
Yikes!
How often do you leave the doctor’s worse than when you came in?!
