Getting gifts is so… intoxicating!
Pope Francis and Queen Elizabeth II had a meet and greet in Vatican City on Thursday where the two powerful old timers exchanged some pretty sweet gifts!
The Queen, who was twenty minutes late, presented Pope Francis with a hamper filled with goodies including some super expensive whiskey, but Pope Francis had something for her, too!
Or rather he had something for her grandson Prince George!
Although we’re not sure his parents Kate Middleton and Prince William would approve of this!
The baby present was a lapis lazuli orb with a silver cross on top, and a cute inscription in its base.
The inscription said:
“Pope Francis, to His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge”
And the royal grandma’s response was hilarious! She said:
“He will be thrilled with that…when he’s a little older!”
Although we think the present is beautiful, it looks pretty dangerous for a baby!
Hopefully Prince George won’t get too curious about it and try and play with it, or he may hurt himself! But when he’s older – we’re sure he’ll appreciate it!
Check out the orb and a bunch of photos of the royally holy visit (below) !!!
