Let the fist pumping commence because Queen Latifah is just like the rest of us!
She’s defending shows like Jersey Shore and Real Housewives of New Jersey, saying, that they’re “neighborly” and “it’s just a reality show. People just really are fascinated by watching other people’s lives. They’re just very entertaining.”
The Jersey girl explains the appeal of her home state, adding:
“Jersey has always been imaged in a weird way. You know? Associated with mobsters and stuff like that. (But) New Jersey is a great place to live. And we have given some of the best talent to the world, from Jack Nicholson, John Travolta to Jerry Lewis to Bon Jovi to Frank Sinatra.”
Uh, we hope she’s not comparing Prostitution Whore Danielle Staub to people with real talent!
