R. Kelly Associate Listed As Person Of Interest In Premiere Shooting Threat

An R. Kelly associate has been listed as a person of interest in regards to a shooting threat made during the Surviving R. Kelly premiere.
As we reported last month, “several anonymous threats were called in” to NeueHouse Madison Square in New York City prompting Lifetime to evacuate the venue.

According to TMZ sources on Thursday, NYPD has connected Kelly’s business partner Donnel Russell to the scary incident.
Authorities were able to track down the number of the alleged phone threat to a man with a Chicago-based 773 area code.
Though police have attempted to make contact with Russell, they have been unsuccessful thus far.
In an interesting twist, law enforcement sources believe Russell is the same “Don Russell” who allegedly threatened Timothy Savage, father of alleged Kelly sex cult member Jocelyn.
As we wrote, Timothy allegedly received a series of harassing texts and phone calls from “Don” because of his participation in the controversial docuseries.
