Allegations are coming out now about another alleged incident involving R. Kelly in the past — this one, an apparent domestic violence altercation in which he reportedly physically attacked ex-girlfriend Halle Calhoun (pictured in the inset, above).
Things all went down sometime in 2017, according to TMZ, when Halle — who was 19 or 20 at the time and living with R. Kelly — was backstage at one of his shows.

Kelly was allegedly mad at Calhoun, and accused her of looking at another man. Halle reportedly shoved Kelly in anger, at which point the allegations state he retaliated by grabbing her “around her neck” and tossing her “like a rag doll into a wall.”
There were apparently witnesses at that incident, too. And there are allegedly “at least two other violent incidents” involving Kelly and Calhoun, including a time where Kelly reportedly slapped Halle after he thought she was looking at a group of men who had walked into a hotel lobby.
Now, sources close to Kelly were adamant that the singer is “not violent,” and that “if anything had happened, someone would have recorded video and sold it long ago.”
That’s… definitely interesting reasoning.

Regardless, Calhoun left Kelly at the end of 2017 after dating more than a year, and her sources tell TMZ she still feels lucky that she “got out in time.” So scary…
