R. Kelly Former (?) Manager Arrested For 'Terroristic Threats'

R Kelly Manager Henry James Mason Arrested

Be careful when you defend monsters; you’re likely to become a monster yourself.
More and more accusations are coming out against R. Kelly, but it was his reported ex-manager who was arrested on Friday.
After a warrant was put out for his arrest, Henry James Mason surrendered himself to Henry County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia on Friday morning.

He was charged with one count of making terroristic threats for his alleged threatening of Timothy Savage, a father who appeared in the Lifetime documentary Surviving R. Kelly — where he spoke about his daughter’s experience with the singer.
Savage told authorities Mason retaliated after the doc by calling and saying:

“I’m gonna do harm to you and your family, when I see you, I’m gonna get you, I’m going to f**king kill you.”

Kelly’s lawyer denies the I Believe I Can Fly singer ordered any threats made on his behalf. It’s unclear when Mason ceased working for Kelly, but it’s clear he’s still going to bat for him — let’s just hope not literally.
Gerald Griggs, an attorney for Savage, made it clear to NBC News his client is expecting more fallout to come.

“He’s relieved but you have to understand, he’s received multiple threats from multiple people from Mr. Kelly’s camp. This is just the first arrest.”

Mason posted $10,000 bail immediately after the booking and was released.
Kelly’s lawyer says police spoke to Savage’s daughter, Jocelyn, and confirmed she was not under duress.
