R. Kelly In Hospital After Emergency Throat Surgery

Uh-oh.

After complaining of throat pain, singer R. Kelly was rushed to the hospital. While performing a throat exam on the singer, doctors discovered he had an abscess on his tonsils.

Kelly’s publicist Allan Mayer said that doctors had to perform emergency throat surgery to drain the abscess. He will be “laid up indefinitely” at Chicago’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

Yikes. Sounds really serious. We hope for a speedy recovery.
