The Bling Ring is flopping harder than a European soccer player, but not everyone is super sad about its lack of success!
Hart of Dixie star Rachel Bilson, for instance, was rubbed the wrong way by Sofia Coppola‘s film and we bet she’s OK with it tanking!
Rachel was one of the Hollywood starlets terrorized by the real life Bling Ring and she recently told Cosmo UK that she found Emma Watson‘s re-enactment to be in bad taste!
The 31-year-old actress revealed:
“I thought it was weird to glorify something that was so upsetting for a lot of people. It’s important to detach from material things, but the special, personal things I lost are hard to forget.”
She makes a solid point!
While Rachel, Orlando Bloom, Audrina Patridge, Lindsay Lohan, and other burglarized celebs may not lose sleep over the financial toll these crimes took, it’s important to remember they were still seriously victimized!
Their privacy was invaded, their personal belongings were taken, and their sanctuary was desecrated!
One Bling Ring member even used Rachel’s restroom during a break-in!!!
Emma didn’t commit the real life crimes, though. We’re sure Rachel understands she was is doing her job!!
