Remember Rachel Canning, the New Jersey teen who sued her parents for college tuition and claimed they were both verbally and physically abusive??
Yeah, well she’s taking the whole thing back! Sort of…
Rachel finally decided to put an end to all of the legal drama and JUST asked the court to dismiss the case against her mom and pops!
Just last week, she made the decision to move back home with her parents and it looked like the whole mess was finally wrapping up, and now it’s official!
When asked by the judge why she decided to dismiss the case, she said she “wanted to” and that no one “forced her” or “coerced her” into making that decision. However, she did say that the mistreatment allegations she made against her parents were still “true and accurate.”
Hmm, interesting.
We’re sure the family is happy to put this all behind them and not have to see the inside of a courtroom for a little while, but we have to assume it’s still going to be pretty awkward around the dinner table!
