On the mend is way better than an up in the air critical condition, that’s for sure!
We’re hearing that while still in seriously bad shape, Randy Travis is responding to the device inserted into his chest and is showing signs of improvement! The piece of technology is there to help his heart beat after succumbing to viral cardiomyopathy ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ an infection that weakens the heart and can lead to heart failure.
One of Randy’s doctor’s released the following statement about his current condition:
“His condition has stabilized and he has shown signs of improvement. On behalf of his Mr. Travis├óΓé¼Γäós family, friends and associates, we would like to express our extreme gratitude for the overwhelming affection and support that Mr. Travis has received.”
It’s a little weird that this is coming from a doctor, because usually doctors can’t talk about a patient’s health without consent. Why would Randy’s family have the doctor make a statement that isn’t very technical to begin with??
Either way, everyone’s lucky that it was caught in time!
Let’s hope for a speedy recovery!
