Hey there little cutie!
A rare Sand Cat kitten was born in Israel’s Safari Zoo this week, which is the first of its kind to be born at the zoo.
In fact, the breed is said to be extinct in Israel. Sand cats will drink water if provided, but can go for months surviving on water found in their food.
Renana, the kitty’s name, is part of Israel’s Sand Cat Breeding Program, which works to reintroduce the species back into the wild.
She’s just a pretty little thing, isn’t she? Watch her in action in the video (above).
