The premiere of Sarah Palin’s Alaska drew in 5 million viewers, making it the most watched series premiere in TLC’s history.
The second episode will not be breaking any records.
Ratings for the show dropped 40% to 3 million viewers.
In the 18-49 age range, there were only 885,000 viewers, which was a 44% drop from last week.
Innerestingly, the show’s median age is 57, which is 15 years older than the average age for TLC shows!
Guess the older folks tolerate like Sarah Palin?
Perhaps the show’s ratings went down because of competition from the American Music Awards or Sunday Night Football, but we’re thinking maybe the initial curiosity that many viewers had wasn’t enough to keep them around for episode #2!
Why do U think so many people bailed on Sarah Palin’s reality show?
