It’s been two days since Ray J was prematurely ejected from Celebrity Big Brother over a toothache after just a week in the house — but that was apparently more than enough time for Channel 5.
While the I Quit Hit it First rapper was originally supposed to make $1 MILLION for his participation, it was unclear whether his early exit would put that paycheck in jeopardy!

Well, according to a TMZ report out Thursday, Ray J will still be making bank for his eight days’ work — just not quite the mil he was promised.
Although, his newly-adjusted “high 6 figure” salary still sounds like much more than 5 wanted to pay…
If you ask us, the show probably wanted to retract their original offer when rumored housemate Jonathan Cheban‘s contract negotiations fell through — Ray J’s only notable for his Kim Kardashian West connection, after all.

Except, they couldn’t just fire him… so now they’re using his dental problems as a scapegoat. (At least, that’s our guess!)
With that said, anything even remotely close to $1 million will more than likely keep Ray from suing for negligence like he had planned.
