Reese Witherspoon‘s mom is such a sweetheart!
The actress may not have taken home an award for her powerful portrayal of Cheryl Strayed in Wild, but she got something even better on Sunday!
When the glitz and glamor from the Golden Globes ended, the actress received some pretty awesome text messages from her lovely mother Betty!

The 38-year-old shared her mom’s encouraging words through text on Twitter:

Even though the actress didn’t win, we have a feeling Betty’s reassuring message helped her get through it.
Besides, it was one tough race for Reese! She was up against Julianne Moore, Jennifer Aniston, Felicity Jones, and Rosamund Pike!
