The new season of The Real Housewives of New York City hasn’t even started yet, and one of the newcomers is already in hot water! However, it’s not with one of her co-stars!
In case you missed it, Bravo confirmed they are moving forward with Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy, and Jessel Taank for Season 16 of RHONY. That means Ubah Hassan, Jenna Lyons, Brynn Whitfield, Racquel Chevremont, and Rebecca Minkoff are out! In their place, the network hired three new people: Hailey Glassman, Erika Hammond, and Daisy Toye. They are all series regulars, while RHONY legend Carole Radziwill is returning as a friend.

The RHONY reboot wasn’t a hit with many fans, so a cast refresh was in order. One influencer isn’t too happy with one of the newest cast members, though. Claudia Oshry called out Bravo for casting Hailey, claiming she has been trolling and body-shaming her since 2017! Whoa! And The Toast podcast host has the receipts to prove it! She began by saying in a TikTok video posted on Monday:
“I have some, like, tea. I don’t know if tea is the right word for this. Of course, I know my girl Erika Hammond — great casting. And then I saw the name Hailey Glassman. I could not put my finger on why her name sounded so familiar to me, so I went over to her Instagram.”
After scrolling through her DMs, Claudia realized Hailey has been, as she says, “a troll of mine, like, a deep internet troll since 2017.” One of the first messages the social media personality claims she received from the publicist said:
“Omg your voice is so annoying. Like Janice from Friends.”
But that’s not all! When Claudia posted an old photo of herself in 2020, Hailey commented, “Damn you were thin!” Other messages said:
“Skinny minnie, now.”
“Looks great but you gotta own you’re on wegovy. You’re an influencer and you really should be honest on your platform about it. When you need any skin tightening since you def lost enough to need it, I’ll set you up with a great plastic surgeon in NYC.”

Claudia also questioned if Hailey is a fan of hers because she would send supportive and positive messages at times, like wishing her a Happy Mother’s Day:
“I think she’s also a huge fan because she also has ‘mazel tov’ when I announced I was pregnant. My biggest hater and my biggest supporter. I don’t know what barrel Bravo was scraping the bottom of when they cast this person, but it’s giving Monica from Salt Lake City.”
Not the Monica Garcia comparison! Damn!

Following the viral video, Hailey defended herself via her representative, Adriane Schwartz, by bringing up Claudia’s problematic past! Her rep told Dailymail.com on Wednesday:
“For an influencer who had to apologize for her bullying and racist comments, even losing her podcast for racism, it’s unfortunate she feels the need to attack Ms. Glassman.”
Back in 2018, her podcast The Morning Breath was cancelled after her old anti-Muslim tweets surfaced. Yikes. Hailey then insisted she wasn’t “trolling” Claudia:
“Ms Glassman responded to her posts appropriately, even sending a sweet Mazel Tov for the birth of her child and offering sound advice to be respectful of her young followers when she seemed to be dishonest regarding the use of weight loss drugs. Which is a legitimate relevant issue. Ms Glassman is the daughter of a very respected and prominent plastic surgeon who offered her plastic surgery advice to an outspoken influencer who posts non stop about her weight.”
Her representative then accused Claudia of “bullying” Hailey, saying:
“Let’s face it, bullying Ms. Glassman all while playing the victim, after openly having to apologize for her own past bullying is a bad look. She should be embarrassed. Ms. Glassman is in support of all people. She has expressed women are beautiful, every shape, every size. They’re all sexy but she says the sexiest of all is authenticity and respect to all groups of people.”
The statement concluded:
“With that said Hailey stands by her comment regarding her distaste for Claudia’s voice.”
Welp! Needless to say, Hailey is already giving classic Housewife and bringin’ the drama!
