Oh noes!
The Seattle Seahawks’ outspoken cornerback Richard Sherman was forced off the field in the fourth quarter of last night├óΓé¼Γäós Super Bowl game!
Sherman was carted off and was later diagnosed in the locker room with a high ankle sprain!
But the best medicine for an injury like that might be a championship!
Sherman missed the final few moments of the Seahawks 43-8 thwomping of the Denver Broncos but was back out on the field on crutches for his team├óΓé¼Γäós celebration! He told reporters how winning was helping him get back on his feet – literally.
Richard exclaimed:
“It really numbs the pain a lot. It was really hurting, and I was sad I let my teammates down and I wasn’t able to finish the game. But I knew they would step up for me and do that. And this feeling is just unbelievable, it’s a dream come true. I’m as 100 percent as I can be for the celebration.I will be at the celebration, I will not miss that!”
Sherman has a long offseason to recover before he and the Legion of Boom take the field again!
Congratz on your big win, Hawks!
