The cycle continues.
As we reported, Chris Brown left his annual thirsty comment on a couple of Rihanna’s Instagram photos over the weekend, prompting a tribe of fans to pelt him with angry responses of the “leave Riri alone” variety.
But, by that point, it was too late — the Rireezy media abuse cycle was already churning at full speed. Which brings us to the next phase: the “source” who claims the two secretly talk all the time!
An insider dished to Us Weekly:
“Chris and Rihanna continue to be in frequent contact with each other. They are extremely supportive of each other’s projects.”
Are they really??

Brown is clearly supportive of the Fenty Beauty mogul’s projects — at least the ones that involve the 30-year-old sharing topless pics of herself on the ‘gram — but the Work songstress is much more of an enigma.
Ri didn’t publicly acknowledge her ex’s flush-faced emojis, but she did later share a screenshot of a Bible verse that read in part:
“There may be times when it seems that you cannot go forward, but at least you do not have to go backward.”
Hmmm…
This could mean that while the songstress isn’t going back to her ex, she isn’t continuing to vilify him either. The source added:
“There is a lot of history between the two of them. Rihanna is aware that there will be concern about her friendship with Chris, but she can handle herself.”
No matter what goes on between these two behind closed doors, it sounds like Rihanna’s in control.
