Rihanna Proves She's Friendly Exes With Drake After Attending His Birthday Party In LA!

Drake doesn’t officially turn 32 until later this week.

However, on Monday night, Rihanna made a special appearance at the rapper’s early birthday party at Poppy nightclub in Los Angeles — giving him the sweetest gift of all: her presence!

According to a source at Us Weekly, the Work singer kept it friendly when she hung out with her ex and several members of his OVO crew (pics HERE) at the El Lay hotspot. They dished:

“Rihanna was there hanging out with Drake, talking to him. She arrived with friends to meet their group of friends who were celebrating his birthday week. They were all hanging out as friends.”

Oh, just casually rubbing shoulders after all of this time?

Color us shocked! We can’t say we ever thought these two would be on super amicable terms again since they’ve barely crossed paths in recent years after their 2016 split. But alas, here we are!

Whatever residual awkwardness that could exist between them apparently wasn’t a factor. According to an eyewitness who spoke with E! News, everyone was actually having a great time! They shared:

“Rihanna was dancing to the music and bobbing her head and seemed to be in a good mood. The whole vibe was very chill. Drake had a huge smile on his face and looked excited to see Rihanna when she arrived.”

A second source told the outlet the Canadian artist, whose actual birthday is on Thursday, October 24, had Virginia Black whiskey, Don Julio 1942 tequila, and Hennessy cognac among other selections at his table.

Based on Anderson’s IG story (below), guests didn’t go hungry as they apparently snacked on McDonald’s at the party, too.

Damn. This sounds like quite the inneresting night!

As we mentioned, the fact that these two are hanging out together again in any capacity definitely raises eyebrows.

The Degrassi alum famously professed his love for the Bajan songstress when he presented her with the MTV Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award back in 2016. At the time, he said:

“She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old. She’s one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life I’ve looked up to her even though she’s younger than me.”

Just two years later after they called it quits, Rih opened up about the status of her non-friendship with Drizzy in an interview with Vogue. She admitted:

“We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. It is what it is.”

Well, it sounds like those days are behind them!

As you know, the Diamonds singer is currently happy and boo’ed up with her BF Hassan Jameel, despite being “polar opposites.” The birthday boy, for his part, is still single.
