By now you’ve no doubt seen Rihanna‘s flesh-baring, uber titillating outfit for the CFDA Awards last night!

RiRi’s jaw-dropping outfit was so diaphanous that it looked like it was fashioned by a team of fairies out of silk spiderwebs and glittering dew drops!
Turns out, it was made of material only slightly more substantial than that!
The gown’s designer, Adam Selman, recently revealed the materials used, saying:
“The dress is just fishnet and crystals and a couple of fingers crossed. But fashion is about beauty, and the [female] body is part of that.”
Ha! More than just a couple of fingers crossed, we think!
It’s also been in the making since the MTV Movie Awards in April. Selman added:
“We started talking about it, and I sketched it shortly after.”
Rih’s stylist, and Selman’s boyfriend, Mel Ottenberg revealed his own worries about the outfit, admitting:
“It’s SO naked. I don’t know if it’s shocking – I’m with her all the time, so my shock gauge is off. But I told her that I thought she was ready for this dress a while ago, and that I wasn’t. I’m the prude, and I’m just catching up.”
Um, yeah, it’s definitely shocking and we LOVE IT!!!
