Mackenzie Shirilla has not been a model citizen behind bars!
As Perezcious readers know, Mackenzie is serving two concurrent sentences of 15 years to life after killing her 20-year-old boyfriend, Dominic Russo, and his friend Davion Flanagan, 19, when she drove 100 mph into a brick wall in July 2022. She argues it wasn’t intentional and has no memory of the crash, blaming it on passing out due to POTS, a chronic condition that can cause dizziness and fainting.
Mackenzie has been fighting to get out of prison ever since she was locked up, but she’s having no luck so far. And it probably doesn’t help that she’s continued to get in trouble while there!

According to conduct reports obtained by TMZ on Friday, over the last few years behind bars, Mackenzie has been reprimanded for numerous rule violations! This includes altering prison clothes and possessing contraband.
In January 2025, prison officials said she was caught with prescription meds that weren’t hers — plus “a personal photo of herself containing drug use.” She denied the allegations, telling cops the photo didn’t include drugs and that the pills they found were prenatal vitamins given to her by someone else. She was also found with four nude magazine photos, which she didn’t confirm or deny having.
Furthermore, she allegedly engaged in a sexually explicit video call! During it, officials claim she showed her boobs to a visitor, and the visitor allegedly showed the prisoner “her breast with a dildo sticking out of her pants twice” before walking into frame fully naked. OMG! Mackenzie admitted guilt for this incident.
Sexual matters continued in August 2025 when an officer alleged seeing another inmate grab Shirilla’s butt, which is considered a form of consensual sexual contact that violates the rules. However, Mackenize denied being intimate with the inmate.
Mackenzie was also written up for making NSFW comments about a prison employee, such as once telling an officer:
“If [the employee] got a boner from the way I’m dressed, that’s his fault.”
She was then taken into the bathroom to make sure she had proper clothing on under a hoodie.
Yeah, this isn’t the kind of behavior that’s going to win her any favors in court! Thoughts?! Let us know (below)!
