Well, some events in their lives are scarily similar (both singers, both having, ahem … ongoing abusive relationships) so perhaps Rihanna would be able to bring something personal to the role?
While rumors of a Whitney Houston biopic have supposedly been squelched by Clive Davis, Princess Riri has recently mentioned her adoration for the late singer, and if she were to play her role model, it would be a life-enveloping experience:
“That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do, because I would really want to pull it off, That’s a huge, huge role, and whoever does it has to do a good job.”
While the biopic may not be happening anytime soon, and while there are a host of other actresses who could pull off the great Whit, we would be intrigued to see Riri in such a self-representing role.
