Respecting the privacy of his daughter, Rihanna‘s father, Ronald Fenty, refuses to say much and strikes down rumors that he is homeless and living out of his car.
He calls the rumors “an attempt by them to shift the focus from Chris Brown” and that selling goods from his car is “a job I do on the side just to keep me happy.”
He adds, “I am really upset about the whole incident. They had me all over the TV saying that I was living in a car and was homeless. I have a home in Warrens. I don’t live in this car. Rihanna has done really well as a person from a small island and I know that she is up against the heavyweights, so they will do anything to discredit her.”
Her uncle, Daddy I-Roy, has said that people have come out of nowhere to harass the family for information and says, “I’m asking everybody to please understand the situation. All I can tell you is that we have spoken to her and she is all right, but that is all I can tell anyone. I don’t even know where these people have gotten my numbers from, but they need to stop calling because I can’t give them any information.”
