In addition to setting a Guinness World Record for selling 1.6 million tickets in one day for his 2009 “Close Encounters” tour, British superstar Robbie Williams also set a world record yesterday by having the most screenings of a live concert in theaters!
The BBC’s live show “Electric Proms” was broadcast simultaneously in venues all over the world in 23 countries.
Extra screenings are planned in the coming weeks for countries a bit further from Williams’ native England including Australia and South Africa!
The world loves some Robbie — and so do we!
