Their poor, poor family!
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is speaking out about his estranged wife’s struggles with depression and the tragic suicide that left him a widower and left their four children without a mother.
He confessed:
“A lot of times, I don├óΓé¼Γäót know how she made it through the day… She was in a lot of agony for a lot of her life.”
Mary Richardson Kennedy battled alcohol addiction for years and was arrested in 2010 for driving under the influence of prescription medication.
She sought professional treatment and received unconditional love and support from her family and friends but there was nothing they could ultimately do.
Robert added:
“I don├óΓé¼Γäót think anybody who was around her didn’t do everything that they could to try to help her.”
Tragically, she was never able to chase away her demons.
Mary hanged herself on Wednesday. She was 52.
