It’s like she never left — except, we all know that Robin Quivers had been gone an incredibly long 17 months!
She had been getting treatment for cancer, something that listeners had no idea was happening for a long time, as she was broadcasting from home. Howard Stern was worried sick about her, which is understandable.
As soon as she was back in the studio, he even told her to:
“Never get sick again.”
Luckily, Robin says she’s cured! She’s now back in action, in the studio, in that glass box we all know is her’s!!
Howard continued:
“Seriously, I’ve been praying for this day … and I’m really happy that you are here. Honestly, I did not think this day would come.
“I was very very depresed over your illness. I wasn’t sure what the outcome was going to be. There was a time I really did think I was going to lose you permenantly. And I’ll tell you what, this is a pretty remakable day that you are here triumphant and cured. I never would have predicted this. Honestly.”
We are SO GLAD she’s back too!
The show just wouldn’t have been the same without her (above)! So, welcome back Robin!
You’ve always been tougher than Howard — now it’s just official!
