Robin Roberts On Fighting Cancer And MDS!

Robin Roberts is a brave woman — nobody can argue that.
She’s been through breast cancer, and she’s now recovering from an extensive bone-marrow transplant from just 5 months ago. She’s battle-hardened, wise, and can take on anything.
Here’s what she said about having a shaved head this time around:

“Whatever. I’m thankful I have a pretty-good-shaped head.”

What about the 30 pounds she lost? Here’s what she has to say about that:

“It’s been hard to put back on, a first in my life. But I gained a pound last week in New Orleans. Woo-hoo!”

All of these little victories are fabulous, and we’re sure they do wonders for her. So how is she really feeling?

“Every day I feel more like my old self. I didn’t think I would. I’ve still got chemo brain and my vision is blurry. You feel so bad for so long, you just want to feel normal. And now I do.”
