Robin Thicke might not be getting the Father Of The Year award in 2017.
Following the rumors that Paula Patton is no longer seeking sole custody of her son with the Blurred Lines singer, reports revealed the A-lister has seen young Julian ONLY ONCE! Oof.
While two sources have confirmed Robin’s Friday meet up with his six-year-old, it appears as though there are different accounts going around town about the type of father Thicke is. Sucks for the industry vet!

One confidant shared with People:
“He did not exercise his right to spend time with his son and the monitor on Saturday, citing a business meeting. However, Paula offered alternate times that Julian could see Robin with the monitor that weekend, but he declined all visitation. These are the actions of a father who claimed he wanted to spend time with his son.”
Ouch! That’s gotta sting.
Nonetheless, an insider close to Robin has since clapped back at this bit of shade as they noted:
“[Patton] keeps trying to bury him, and this is a concerted effort to prejudice the public against him. He has taken no such campaign against her. He’s taking this extremely seriously, and it’s unfortunate and very difficult when you’re on the receiving end of a campaign of negativity.”
How very Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie of these two.
Perhaps Alan Thicke‘s son didn’t want to push the bonding time with his flesh-and-blood? In case you forgot, just last week, a judge granted Miz Patton temporary sole custody of Julian, with the 39-year-old getting supervised visits three days a week. Not to mention, outside the arranged meetings, the Get Her Back artist is ordered to stay 100 yards away from his ex, son, and former mother-in-law.
As you may recall, Thicke and Patton finalized their divorce in 2015 and had a relatively healthy coparenting relationship… until recently. While the pop star has since been cleared by Child Protective Services, the 41-year-old has continued to attack her ex’s character with accusations of abuse, drug use, and infidelity.
We hope, for their son’s sake, the former flames are able to find their way back to an amicable relationship.
