Zak Williams
, the son of Robin Williams, is so strong in light of his father’s tragic passing.
The eldest child of the late actor opened up at Thursday night’s Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation fundraising gala about what it’s like living without his dad.

The moment was especially poignant considering the late Christopher Reeve was a very close friend to Robin and the actor spent a lot of time doing work for Reeve’s foundation.
The brave Zak confessed:

“We’re doing OK. We’re acclimating to the new normal. Everything is step by step. Personally, my wife and I are focusing on doing a lot of good. She runs the San Francisco office of Human Rights Watch, and we’re working with them to do good in the world.”

We’re glad to hear that Zak and his wife are adjusting to life without Robin, especially since it was just revealed that the late actor’s Napa Valley estate is on the market for $25.9 million.
While Zak has undergone A LOT of changes in the last few months, we have no doubt that he’ll be able to handle this new development with grace and poise!
In the remainder of his speech, the eldest Williams child also elaborated on his dad’s tight bond with Reeve, saying:

“They had a tremendous love for one another. The amazing thing about their relationship was their incredible drive to take the time to love, to help, and to appreciate others, even while they found themselves in great pain. They always found time to give their all to those in need. Bringing light and healing where there’s darkness, pain, or suffering is absolutely vital.”

Yes, we’ll always remember Robin and Christopher for their amazing kindness and sense of altruism.
Though the wound of losing Robin is still fresh, we take comfort in knowing that his family is doing their best to move forward.
Stay strong, Zak.
