According to a personal trainer in Hollywood, Rod Stewart and his son Sean tried to use their health insurance to pay for Sean’s physical therapy bills after a car accident hurt his lower back and shoulder. What’s the problem with this, you might ask?
Well, none, really — there ARE physical trainers and clinics that will offer this kind of therapy to be covered under health insurance. This super special one, though, only takes cold hard cash because… well, we don’t know actually! That’s up to him!
Randy Rene calls himself The Body Architect and has filed the small claims lawsuit against Sean for $5,440 for services rendered from March to May last year, services he says can’t be paid with insurance.
Apparently Randy asked Sean for the money, and Sean said to go through his medical insurance. Randy was NOT pleased with this, so The Body Architect is taking Sean AND his dad to court!
Honestly, Randy doesn’t seem to be making an extreme request, and the matter of payment and whether he takes insurance should’ve been clarified by Sean before he even chose to use him. Plus, this isn’t the first time has been sued by a PT — in 2008, he was sued for 4 months of unpaid session by someone else.
Cray!
