Sex, drugs, and rock and roll! That was the way of The Rolling Stones — but maybe a little too much for one member!
In the upcoming The Rolling Stones: The Biography book, details of the rock group’s sex life are blasted for all to read… with piercing details about one crudely-put “p***y hound” in particular.
According to the book, when the band first started touring the US in 1965, they’d keep the party going after concerts back at their hotel room with drugs and women, who one band member in particular had a thirst for gettin’ jiggy with.
Any guesses?? Frontman Mick Jagger? Electric guitarist Keith Richards? Neither!
It was their unassuming bassist Bill Wyman!
You know what? Thinking about all we’ve heard about bassists, this does make sense. But we digress…
Author Bob Spitz writes in the book:
“Bill was hands-down the band’s unrivaled p***y hound.”
According to him, the musician was unable to rest without “fresh female companionship … his appetite for casual sex was unquenchable.”
The bassist apparently would stand onstage and scour the first few rows of the audience to identify eligible candidates, then send out an assistant to ask if they wanted to meet after the show.
Mind you, Bill married his first wife Diane Cory in 1959 and they welcomed a son together in 1962. It wasn’t until 1969 that they divorced! Then, nearly two decades later, Bill controversially struck up a relationship with Tottenham native Mandy Smith, who was just 13 YEARS OLD when he was 47!!!
VOMIT!
Spitz noted that was “a detail they tried to keep under wraps,” but Bill has defended the icky relationship over the years, claiming “she was a woman at 13” and that he believed she was 20 when they met.
Wow. That’s so disgusting…
FYI, the age of consent in The UK was 16. So even with a younger age of consent than the States, 13 was still nowhere close to being legal across the pond. Another reason they reportedly didn’t go public until she become “of age” over there.
The relationship reportedly “revolted” Mick Jagger, who had young daughters, and the band read Bill the “riot act.” However, the pair went on to wed in 1989 when Smith was 18. They separated two years after that.
Seriously, so disturbing…
