From the over-the-top decorations to the standout outfits, the Met Gala is known for being one of the most extravagant nights of the year!
So when it came to dinner, you know they did not spare a dime, especially since they were responsible for feeding Hollywood’s hottest!
The night’s menu consisted of two luxe choices:
#1 – Lobster and lobster mousse with American caviar, lemon mousseline and Maison Pascale Doney Meursault, 2011
#2 – Vol Au Vent with poached chicken, quinelles, morels, and black truffles, champagne sauce, wild rice with snow peas and apples, Domaine Marc-Antonin Blain Chassagne-Montrachet 2010
Dessert – Baked Alaska, Passion Fruit and Cassis Sorbet
Though we have no idea what half those items are, clearly there was no need to sneak a burrito in your clutch!
And considering the event’s hefty price tag, we sure hope they got their money’s worth.
