Roseanne Barr Tours Israel With Celeb Rabbi After Accusing ABC Execs Of ‘Anti-Semitism’ Over Firing

Roseanne Barr is getting back to her Jewish roots.

The disgraced comedian and former star of Roseanne is currently on a trip to Israel with celeb rabbi Shmuley Boteach — and on Sunday, the pair visited Jerusalem’s Old City on what happened to be International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Barr, who is Jewish and has long been very pro-Israel in her personal life, spoke about her experience over the past week in the Holy Land (below):

“There are no proper words for me to express the connection I feel, first of all to God, to Torah (Bible), to my people.”

She’ll also speak when she’s there before Knesset, which is the legislative branch of the Israeli government, so she’s having quite the welcome mat rolled out!

Of course, this comes not long after Barr accused ABC execs of anti-Semitism after being fired from her reboot for racist remarks about one of President Barack Obama‘s former aides.

She doubled down on that anti-Semitism accusation against ABC execs again in an interview with the Jerusalem Post ahead of this trip to Israel, adding (below):

“I feel that what happened to me, a large part of it is anti-Semitism. I think it played a part – the fact that I was never allowed to explain what I meant – and what I meant was a commentary on Iran – so they purposely mischaracterized what I said and wouldn’t let me explain. And in haste they did something unprecedented that they’ve never done to any other artist. And at the base of that I think it’s because I am the most vocal person about Israel and BDS [Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions].”

Hmmm…

What do U think, Perezcious readers — is Roseanne taking full responsibility for what she said?! Is she right about the anti-Semitism accusations??
