As you may have seen, Roseanne got back on Twitter last night after quitting for less than a day.
And like her TV return, it only made things worse…
After seemingly blaming her racism on taking Ambien, she decided to do some parenting. No, not to her real son who supported her with more B.S. excuses — she responded to her TV kids!

Both Sara Gilbert and Michael Fishman had condemned Roseanne’s racist tweets in somber language, causing her to lash out.
First, at 2 a.m. she responded to DJ saying he was “devastated” about the rest of the staff, who “strived for inclusivity”, losing their livelihood because of comments he found “reprehensible and intolerable”:

i created the platform for that inclusivity and you know https://t.co/hViHPX2ZUb. You throw me under the bus. nice!

A couple hours later — yes, after 4 a.m. local time — Roseanne responded to Darlene calling her words “abhorrent.”
By then perhaps she’d had some time to reflect because she admitted she “indeed fucked up” and said she already forgives Gilbert.
She forgives her for condemning racism. Great.
Roseanne’s recent comments about Valerie Jarrett, and so much more, are abhorrent and do not reflect the beliefs of our cast and crew or anyone associated with our show. I am disappointed in her actions to say the least.

no, I understand her position and why she said what she said. i forgive her. It just shocked me a bit, but I indeed fucked up.

She’s distancing herself from me and my tweet-she has to.

Right. It’s just for optics. No one really hates racism. *eye roll so big it can be seen by the live studio audience*
