Roy Williams, a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys, has just made one of the most valuable receptions of his career.
After 5 months and a lawsuit, he finally managed to get a $76,000 ring back from an ex-girlfriend he proposed to this past Valentine’s Day.
The NFL player sent Brooke Daniels the ring in the mail and recorded a marriage proposal along with it, but the former Miss Texas USA wasn’t ready to settle down and the couple broke up shortly after.
She promised to return the ring, but after a couple months without the romantic investment back in his palm, Williams got antsy and decided file a lawsuit demanding the ring be returned.
Fortunately, Mz. Daniels has complied and her mother has told sources the ring was returned to Williams’ lawyer in Houston on Wednesday.
Sorry she wasn’t “the one”, Roy! We’re happy to hear you got your money back and can finally move on!
