Poor Meghan Markle.
As you surely know, the soon-to-be royal has been put through the ringer ahead of her wedding to Prince Harry — and it’s all her family’s fault. Not only was father Thomas Markle caught staging paparazzi pics, the reclusive cinematographer announced that he was no longer attending the royal wedding due to health problems.

However, we weren’t sure if he was serious, as Mr. Markle flip flopped on this stance quite a bit. Ultimately, Meghan’s dad DID require urgent heart surgery this week, leaving him unable to attend his daughter’s upcoming nuptials.
On Thursday, Kensington Palace released the Suits actress’ statement regarding the dramatic situation. Here’s what she had to say:
“Sadly, my father will not be attending our wedding. I haver always cared for my father and hope he can be given the space he needs to focus on his health.
I would like to thank everyone who has offered generous messages of support. Please know how much Harry and I look forward to sharing our special day with you on Saturday.”

Way to keep it positive, girl. Not to mention, we’re sure a part of Meghan is relieved that Thomas isn’t going to be there. We mean, she doesn’t need any more family dramz stealing her thunder!!
Now we just have to wait and see if Miz Markle is given away by mother Doria Ragland! You’ll have to tune in on May 19 to find out…
