As you surely know, there’s been quite a bit of speculation surrounding the dress Miz Markle would don at her May 19 nuptials. Thankfully, the wait is finally over, as it’s been revealed that Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy is responsible for her gorgeous gown. Per a statement by the Royal Family, the Waight Keller design “epitomizes a timeless minimal elegance referencing the codes of the iconic House of Givenchy.” It’s said that Meghan and Clare “worked closely together” on the development of the dress. The gown’s most stunning feature HAS to be the open bateau neckline, which “gracefully frames the shoulders and emphasizes the slender sculpted waist.”
As for the veil?? This piece features the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country, in an attempt to pay tribute to the ENTIRE Commonwealth. Of course, the stunning veil was held in place by Queen Mary‘s diamond bandeau tiara. The diamond headpiece was lent to Miz Markle by the Queen.
Overall, Meghan has taken to her princess status quite well. Way to slay, your royal highness!!
