The 30-year-old Rubik’s Cube is getting a make over this year!
Hungarian Professor Erno Rubik has developed a new three dimensional puzzle modeled after his original cube called Rubik’s 360.
Great, make something hard even HARDER!
The solver manipulates three spheres to move plastic balls through them, “challenging the solver to use skill, dexterity and logic.”
The original Cube has experienced a recent revival, with internet tutorials making the retro toy popular again.
The world’s fastest Rubik’s solver is Dutch teenager Eric Akkersdijk, who completed the puzzle in just 7.08 seconds. The slowest, on the other hand, is 45-year-old English Graham Parker, who took 26 years to solve the Cube.
360 goes on sale later this year.
