If you’re playing along at home, you can now mark “OK there was some collusion” on your Russia Investigation BINGO cards.
Donald Trump has been repeating NO COLLUSION in all caps for at least a year and a half, something which of course has been parroted by his entire team.
But on Wednesday night, the President’s lawyer (?) Rudy Giuliani appeared on CNN and seemed to throw that all away.

When Chris Cuomo asked how last week’s revelation Mueller’s team has evidence Trump’s campaign manager Paul Manafort shared polling data with Russian operative Konstantin Kilimnik jibed with their “no collusion” defense, Rudy was the most Rudy he’s ever been, spewing:
“You just misstated my position. I never said there was no collusion between the campaign, or between people in the campaign.”
DAFUQ U SAY??
First off, OF COURSE Rudy has been saying that, and so has Trump, as folks were quick to compile:
TRUMP, JAN 18: "There has been no collusion between the Trump campaign & Russians"
TRUMP, APRIL 18: "There was no collusion between Trump campaign & Russian people"
TRUMP, DEC 18: "There was no collusion whatsoever"RUDY GIULIANI, JAN 19: There might've been a little collusion! pic.twitter.com/UMvfynnHEv

Secondly, PAY ATTENTION to this, America!
This is the moment the Trump team’s argument shifts from saying they didn’t collude with Russia to saying SOME did, but Trump himself didn’t know about it so it’s fine he’s still President. But they’re STILL going to say the investigation is corrupt.
These are the facts:
- The Trump changed the Republican Party policy to be more in favor of corrupt Russian president Vladimir Putin.
- Every intelligence agency of the U.S and our allies confirm Russia interfered in our election.
- Trump won that election.
- Trump is working to lessen or remove sanctions which hurt Putin’s money RIGHT NOW despite Congress fighting him on it.
So the quid pro quo is out there in plain sight. The only question is whether the investigation will show somewhere in the 100+ interactions between Trump’s campaign and Russian oligarchs and agents there was something resembling an agreement made.
Besides this we mean:
Now that the public evidence is becoming overwhelming (and who knows how much more has stayed successfully redacted), they have to change their position.
And right now it looks like Trump throwing underlings under the bus again.
However, eventually we WILL get to the point where they say Yes Trump colluded, but why is that a crime?
And Rudy will be the first one to say it.
